The president gave remarks on the economy during the visit.
President Trump made an appearance at Mount Airy Casino Resort in Monroe County on Tuesday evening.
The president will speak on the nation’s economy and his administration’s progress in improving affordability for Americans during the visit.
Congressman Rob Bresnahan, who represents Pennsylvania’s 8th District in Congress, will attend the event.
Bresnahan’s seat in the 8th District is expected to be one of the nation’s most closely watched races in 2026.
The Republican Party of Pennsylvania posted online that Trump will “return to Pennsylvania to address inflation, the economy, and how he plans to continue to bring down prices.”
Recent reports indicate that the visit will be the first of many for President Trump to detail his economic wins before crowds in states across the country. His administration is focusing heavily on affordability for Americans after Biden-era inflation wracked the economy.
President Trump’s major achievement from his first term was signing the One Big Beautiful Bill into law to deliver the largest tax cut in American history. The bill aimed to increase take-home pay for Americans and enhance affordability.
The administration has encouraged foreign investments into America’s economy, aimed to boost jobs across all sectors, and cancelled grants that do not align with the president’s priority to reduce the burden on the American taxpayer.
Trump’s administration has also prioritized eliminating wasteful government spending during his term in office.
He plans to focus on his economic wins during his visit to Mount Airy Casino, which comes as Congressman Bresnahan is facing a battleground race to keep his House seat.
